Event Coordinator £11 – £12ph EC2

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with an interesting and fun event running from February until the end of March. My client is a prestigious education based organisation who offers a fun interactive forum to the public. The successful candidate will have experience organising and assisting an event. The role is Monday to Friday but there are 5 events which will require the flexibility to work late. The candidate will also need to be happy to have a DBS clearance as the role is dealing with the public. The role will involve:

Acting as events coordinator

with responsibility to manage and coordinate one, contained, designated activity/live performance area on the event night.

Liaising with external contributors, AV technicians to troubleshoot any issues.

Being the first point of contact with visitors on the evening, to ensure a positive customer experience.

Supporting the Events Producer in the administrative tasks relating to the event planning and delivery in the lead up to the event including producing signage, sourcing and collating printed and other materials for activities, managing ticket lists, producing event briefing sheets from templates, liaison with external contributors and internal staff if necessary.

Undertake event content research for forthcoming programming.

Research and compile lists of potential people to market the programme more widely to.

Due to time constraints and the number of applications we will only be able to respond personally to successful candidates. Hopefully you will be one of those. If not please do feel free to send your CV again for any other positions that are of interest.
