To support the delivery of the Alumni Relations programme by providing proactive and comprehensive operational and administrative support to the Alumni Relations team.



The Alumni Relations Officer will support the Alumni Relations team to:

  • Organise key supporter events including alumni group activity
  • Deliver the the professional development series and the alumni presence at Graduation Ceremonies and Open Days
  • Respond to alumni enquiries via phone and email, and issue alumni cards
  • Manage engagement with the student community and student societies
  • Coordinate alumni activity across the University’s eleven Faculties including support for alumni events and communications
  • Market the Alumni Online Community across the full range of audiences



  • Experience of working in an administrative role in a busy office or organisation
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to deliver a high level of customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with a wide range of individuals
  • Confident user of the Microsoft Office package including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
