Are you an experienced Communications Specialist looking for a new role? How would you like the opportunity to join one of London’s leading Universities as a temporary member of staff?



We are seeking a short-term Communications specialist to help manage the Universities Transforming communications activities.

The individual will help to manage the current Transforming comms activities working closely with the Senior Communications Manager. The individual will also be expected to:

  • Work with estates teams to develop additional copy for communications
  • Work to programme in communications for student media
  • Work to raise awareness of forthcoming project milestones and opportunities for communication
  • Identify and implement some of the additional opportunities above.



  • Some knowledge and experience of higher education
  • Proven and demonstrable copywriting and research skills/experience
  • Digital skill – Ability to use content management systems and social media, also building film clips, powerpoint presentations and supporting the team with digital needs
  • Strong, rounded communications skill and experience
  • Desire to achieve, succeed in this role
  • Some connection / passion for sustainability, architecture or construction sectors would be a bonus
  • InDesign layout or graphic design skills would be a bonus
  • A people person so keen to make relationships and network
