THE ROLE

The main purpose of the role is to provide support in maintaining sound corporate governance. You will be working as part of the Human Resources and Corporate Support Team, reporting to the Human Resources and Corporate Support Manager.

MAIN DUTIES

  • act as secretary to the Management Board – coordinating agendas and papers, preparing minutes of the monthly meetings and maintaining records. To liaise with members of the Senior Management Team, monitoring that agreed corporate actions are undertaken and decisions recorded
  • act as secretary to the Audit & Risk Assurance Committee – coordinating agendas and papers, preparing minutes of the quarterly meetings and maintaining records. To liaise with the non-executive members, ensuring they are appropriately supported and to arrange the relevant training for their role
  • support operational activities by assisting the Director of Operations in recording regulatory activities and processes
  • ensure (with others) that corporate information is made available to be regularly updated both internally on the intranet and externally on the website and to act as owner of these information assets
  • prepare standard monthly letters to MPs alerting them to action taken by against immigration advisers operating in, or near, their constituencies
  • liaise with external stakeholders
  • Assist the Human Resources and Corporate Support Team in providing support to staff throughout in areas including health and safety, recognition payments, corporate training and HR Policies.

  • Confident and proficient in using Microsoft Office, particularly Word.;
