We are recruiting for an Events Administrator to join one of London’s leading Universities on a part time basis. If you are looking for a part time post (Thursdays and Fridays weekly) and have previous experience supporting events, please do send your CV across!



  • To undertake the administrative tasks involved in setting up and organising events (such as monitoring and recording registrations, preparing event signage, producing name badges) at the request of the Events Coordinators
  • To manage delegates enquiries and correspondence
  • To apply for CPD accreditations from outside organisations as requested by the Event Coordinator
  • To maintain the Events webpages
  • To undertake post-event administration including maintaining accurate event attendance information and process feedback
  • To communicate through clear verbal and written correspondence with staff, delegates and service providers
  • To be responsible for collating information for event brochures
  • To take responsibility for small projects within large scale events
  • To assist with logistical briefings for colleagues, in particular facilities staff (Porters, Cleaners, Catering staff etc.), as directed by the Events Coordinators
  • To be responsible for ordering stationery supplies for events and maintaining adequate levels of the same
  • To attend and work on events organised by the Team, as requested by the Events Coordinators, which will include occasional evening and early morning


  • Manage the department’s general account and respond to general enquiries
  • Attend staff meeting and training as required
  • Any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, the title of the post and its grading as requested by the line manager.



  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Internet and email
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain good relations with a wide range of individuals from different professional backgrounds
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently
  • High degree of flexibility and initiative; ability to ask for advice where needed
  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Be prepared to work outside of normal working hours on occasion
