My client is a world renown university rated the best university in the UK based on ‘research power” and Research Outputs. We are seeking Senior Partnerships Managers to develop partnerships between the university and significant business and other innovation relevant organisations.

The university’s Business and Innovation partnerships are sector focused. We have two fantastic opportunities available and are seeking candidates with significant expertise in one of the following sectors:

Built Environment including transport, infrastructure and utilities (fixed term contract until 30th November 2018)


Pharma and Healthcare (fixed term contract until 30th August 2018)


Ensuring Partnerships Managers have sector expertise leads to the development of high level strategy for the business partnerships and the university. The successful candidate will help develop and deliver the strategic thinking and approach to the partnerships with the widest range of organisations in the specialist sector.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of one of the sectors outlined above
  • The ability to manage a diverse rapidly changing portfolio
  • Good judgement of conflicting priorities and sensitivity in handling policy
  • An ability to analyse and present complex information
  • Ability to work in collaboration with colleagues in a variety of contexts
  • Proven experience of building partnerships between business and research base
